DELTA’s DεLTα Mini Meals innovative yoghurt line was awarded on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, in Dublin, where the awarding of the World Dairy Innovation Awards was held. DεLTα Mini Meals received the first innovation prize in two categories: “Best Yoghurt” and “Best Dairy Snack”. DεLTα Mini Meals were distinguished amongst entries from 20 countries in 19 categories, based on how they respond to modern dietary trends and how they give a new impetus to the yoghurt category.

DεLTα Mini Meals is a yoghurt line based on the combination of strained yoghurt with 2% fat and a range of Greek flavors along with an overcup containing Cretan barley rusks and a spoon.

The delightful and characteristic flavors are the following:

  • Cucumber with aromatic herbs
  • Green, yellow and red peppers
  • Greek salad ingredients (tomato, cucumber, olives, onion)
  • Green olives, basil and caper

The proposal constitutes a practical, healthy and tasty mini-meal, low in fat and sugars, but high in protein and fibers.

DεLTα Mini Meals were presented for the first time at the SIAL International Food Exhibition in October 2016, where they caused a great sensation and were launched in Italy in mid-June in 2017 with many countries, including Greece, following immediately.
