Everest Partners with HOPEgenesis to Tackle Low Birth Rates in Greece

Everest, committed to leveraging its scale for the greater good, has entered into a new partnership with HOPEgenesis. This Greek nonprofit organization, founded in 2015, focuses on reversing the trend of low birth rates in Greece by raising awareness, analyzing root causes, and implementing initiatives to address the negative birth-to-death ratio.

As part of this collaboration, HOPEgenesis donation boxes have been placed in Everest stores, allowing customers to support the organization’s mission.

Kosmas Krokidas, Chief Marketing Officer of Goody’s-Everest Group, stated: “We are delighted to embark on this partnership. HOPEgenesis addresses a critical issue, and we are proud to contribute to its efforts. Supporting initiatives and organizations that perform valuable social work is a strategic pillar for us. We hope this collaboration will enable our stores to act as platforms for raising awareness about impactful actions and organizations, thereby contributing to their work.”

Eva Papadaki, Project Manager at HOPEgenesis, added: “Today marks the beginning of a hopeful collaboration with Everest stores, which will serve as a channel for raising public awareness about our mission to counter low birth rates and support families across Greece, even in the most remote areas. We invite everyone to learn about our work and, if they wish, to contribute. We deeply thank Goody’s-Everest Group for this opportunity and their constructive partnership.”
