Barba Stathis is demonstrating its commitment to empowering the next generation of farmers by offering two full two-year scholarships to children of its contract producers. These scholarships will cover tuition, accommodation, and meals for their studies at the Vocational High School of the American Farm School.
Recognizing the importance of active youth participation in Greece’s primary sector, Barba Stathis aims to provide young people with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the agricultural and agrifood industries.
Nikitas Pothoulakis, Vice President and CEO of Barba Stathis, stated: “We are steadfast in supporting young people striving for a better future. It is our duty to provide meaningful support to those pursuing personal growth and chasing their dreams. The future of agriculture lies in the hands of the new generation of farmers, equipped with knowledge as their most valuable tool.”
