8 Major Awards and 1 Honorary Distinction for the Goody’s-Everest Group at the Food Experts Awards 2024

The Goody’s-Everest Group has earned 8 awards in 3 significant categories at the Food Experts Awards 2024, an event that celebrates achievements and best practices in the food and beverage sector.

Specifically, the Group was recognized in the categories of Food Safety Culture Stand Out, Food Product Integrity Stand Out, and Excellent Food Related Training Scheme, reaffirming its commitment to cultivating a comprehensive culture of quality and safety.

Acknowledging the Group’s consistent investment in new product development, it also received 4 Product Development awards in the Best in Taste category, following a blind tasting process. More specifically, Goody’s Burger House was awarded for its “Beef Patty from Small Greek Farms”, while Everest received awards for three products: “Noodles Salad with Grilled Chicken Fillet”, “Honduras Espresso Coffee”, and “Handmade Spinach and Cheese Pie”.

Additionally, the Goody’s-Everest Group was distinguished in the Excellence in Promoting Sustainability / Food Waste Initiative category for its collaboration with Harokopio University to develop a system for quantifying and monitoring food waste, aiming at its effective management and reduction.

Finally, Ms. Christina Panou, the Group’s Quality Management Director, received an honorary distinction with the Doris Davis Centini Award 2024 for her long-standing contribution to food safety. Commenting on the recognition, Ms. Panou stated: “We are truly proud of these distinctions. For us, it is important to be recognized for achievements in the areas of food safety culture and education, as these are two strategic priorities embedded in the DNA of our brands from the very beginning.
