  • Papagallino – contributions to Children’s Villages SOS
    Papagallino patisseries support the Children’s Villages SOS and throughout 2012 offer birthday cakes to the children on their birthdays. Papagallino makes its unique birthday cakes with a lot of love, so that the 80 children of all ages staying at SOS Children’s Village in Vari, the Youth House and the Hostel ELIZA-SOS will have the opportunity enjoy their birthday and get to blow out their candles. This initiative of the Papagallino patisserie in support of the “Children’s Villages SOS” is part of the company’s social responsibility program and aims to raise awareness on all levels with respect to the children and their needs. Papagallino believes in demonstrating through actions its commitment to charitable actions and stands out for its sensitivity and interest in our fellow man.
  • Proinohora & Junior Chef Educational Programs
    Vivartia considers informing and training children with respect to a balanced diet to be one of its main priorities. For this reason Goody’s and DELTA, two companies from the Vivartia group, have taken the initiative to develop and carry out specially designed programs for children.
  • Model Training Program for Children
    Goody’s Junior Chef is a unique corporate social responsibility program in its field. It informs children in a simple and easy to understand manner about the benefits of a balanced diet and the values of a Mediterranean diet, so as to guide them towards adopting a healthier nutritional model. It takes place at Goody’s restaurants throughout Greece.
  • Journey in Proinohora
    The Nutritional Advisory Center (NAC) visits nurseries and kindergartens and through unique interactive storytelling narrates the “Journey in Proinohora (Breakfastland)”, entertains preschoolers, whilst informing them on the importance of a healthy and balanced breakfast.
  • The Group’s companies work together with OAED, the Greek Manpower Employment Organisation, in order to give special prices to the unemployed
    The companies GOODY’S (Goody’s and Flocafe branches), EVEREST (everest ,  La Pasteria & Olympus Plaza branches) and BARBA STATHIS participated actively in the OAED campaign, providing discounts for people with unemployment cards.
  • Special offers and unchanging pricing policy
    All Greek companies of the Vivartia Group responded to the Greek family’s and society’s new needs for quality products at affordable prices, either through reduced prices or offers.
  • Barba Stathis Sponsorship for Breast Cancer
    Barba Stathis supported the outreach campaign against breast cancer, raising awareness on the importance of a healthy vegetable-based diet, in the context of “Life after Breast Cancer” – an event that took place in November at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall.
  • Barba Stathis employees donate blood
    Barba Stathis operates a voluntary program for donating blood. The process takes place twice a year at the company’s premises in Sindos through a blood donation mobile unit. The blood donation program has resulted in a strong blood bank – which was created in collaboration with the State Hospital of AHEPA– which can respond to our personnel’s extraordinary needs, as well as those of third parties.
  • Everest employees donate blood
    The Everest group has promoted a voluntary program for donating blood for the last 15 years. Blood is donated twice a year with the participation of the group’s business units. The blood donation program has resulted in a strong blood bank – which was created in collaboration with the State Hospital of Nikaia – which can respond to our personnel’s extraordinary needs, as well as those of third parties.
  • Site visits to DELTA plants for pupils and students
    For many years DELTA has been carrying out site visits at its plants. Primary and secondary school pupils, as well as students attend and participate in a comprehensive tour, which includes a visit to the production premises. The target of the program is to educate and inform children on issues of nutrition and quality, as well as issues pertaining to the administration and organisation of a modern company such as DELTA
