DELTA, the leading Greek dairy products company, a subsidiary of Vivartia and member of the MIG Group, participates in the “Brunch at School” program and offers free fresh milk to approximately 11,500 children in 68 primary schools and kindergartens, as part of the coverage of the food needs of vulnerable groups of the population, such as students.

DELTA’s CEO, Mr. Antonis Mavridoglou, stated: “We participate for the second consecutive year in the “Brunch at School” program, offering children of elementary schools and kindergartens the most precious good for their development, Greek fresh milk. For us at DELTA, solidarity and social responsibility are concepts that we have been putting into practice for many years, giving priority to children and families, and will continue to provide our aid to initiatives contributing to the coverage of nutritional needs of our fellowmen.”

DELTA supports our fellowmen in collaboration with credible institutions and foundations, having made available, only during the last one and a half year, more than 1.5 million rations of products.

The “Brunch at School” program is an initiative of the Ministry of Labour, Social Insurance and Social Solidarity and of the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs aiming to contribute to the fight against students’ child poverty and food insecurity phenomena and to address the food needs of vulnerable groups of the population, such as students.
